Pat’s Tungsten Bead Stonefly Nymph

Pat’s Tungsten Bead Stonefly Nymph is a heavily weighted modern stonefly attractor pattern designed to get deep quickly and produce aggressive strikes in fast, turbulent water. Built with a tungsten bead for maximum sink rate and lively rubber legs for constant movement, this proven pattern imitates large stonefly nymphs and other substantial aquatic insects trout feed on throughout the season.

An evolution of the classic Pat’s Rubber Legs style, this fly excels in rivers, freestone streams, tailwaters, and pocket water where trout hold tight to the bottom. The tungsten bead helps the fly reach the strike zone quickly, making it especially effective in deeper runs, heavy currents, and rocky structure.
